honest review of this korean express facial!!

Have been having acne problems recently, and decided to go for a facial to help get rid of the stubborn acne on my face 🥲 Never really went for a traditional facial before , and always went for facials at kskin outlet just because I found it fuss free since I could walk in and be done super fast!!

However, the other day I walked into a kskin outlet at suntec city and decided on the combo package since I haven’t done facial in a really long time, and right after I was done with the treatment, the lady just kept going on and on about the products I needed to buy to use after my facial…

Honestly really hate hard-selling and the lady talked as if I was going to buy the products for sure, and asked me if I wanted to get a toner pad along with the serum I was going to buy (did not even say yes??) and I politely refused, but eventually didnt mind buying the serum since she made it seem like it would help get rid of my acne scars in less than a week (slightly red flag)

AND THEN she took the serum and said it was $98 and in my head I was like this is a very expensive serum, I could even get better serums of a higher end brand at that price point, and that’s when she looked at me and said “how much did you think it was?” and I was just shocked and said I think it’s ok I don’t think I want it anymore, and obviously she continued persuading me, but I honestly did not want to spend $98 on a serum, which was even more expensive than my facial??

Anyways, after this experience, i don’t think i am ever going back to kskin ever again, and would look out for places that do traditional facials instead, as kskin does feel like a place for quick fixes, and doesn’t really have lasting benefits for my skin, and I would rather spend more on more legit facials that can really maintain my skin regularly!!
