chill jb day trip itinerary - what to eat!!

Recently went in on a saturday for a chill jb day trip, and managed to try out some food places that i haven’t tried before!!

Roast & Coffee - Retro Garden 1968's

- ordered their signature laksa, seafood mihun, kaya toast w kampung eggs & milo 1968!!

- portion was very huge we couldn’t finish everything but I have to say that all the food we ordered was great 👍🏻👍🏻

- also like that they have a very extensive menu, which left me spoilt with choices, and defo will be back again to try out their other food

Arashi Shabu-Shabu Komtar JBCC

- first time trying out this hotpot place, but have heard may reviews about this, and liked the fact that we were given our own individual hotpot so we could choose our own soup base

- ordered their arashi hot & spicy milk which i thought would taste like mala, which didnt but nevertheless still tasted nice!!

- ordered their beef & pork set and was honestly v full and surprised that we only spent around $15sgd per pax in total, very value for money!!

CHAGEE @ Southkey

- always have to stop by the cha gee outlet whenever i go to midvalley, and almost couldnt get it as orders closed while we were queuing 😭

- went back again around 1h later after orders re-opened but they weren’t selling milk tea but still got their fruit tea which was a blessing in disguise as it really helped quench our thirst 😂

other than eating, also went for a short massage and shopped for some necessities before heading back to sg around 10pm! overall, didnt have time to do or eat many things as we spent a lot of time waiting for our grab and then travelling, but was satisfied with the chill day trip!!
