4 ways I plan to grow closer with God this summer!

This summer I plan on growing my relationship with God and this is how I am doing so!

Prayer walks!- I think that this gives a great opportunity to have one on one time with God while also walking and looking at His beautiful creation. Prayer walks while listening to worship music make me so happy so I think it will help grow me closer to Christ!

Giving the first hour of my day to God- This has helped me gain a good mood and feeling for my day just by starting off it with prayer and the Word! I feel like this helps me really have Jesus flowing throughout me!

Listening to Christian music or podcasts over secular music- The Bible talks about corruption in your mind and how the enemy will try to get control over things. I definitely think that secular music isn’t healthy to be listening to more than Christian music! Personally in my walk, I have felt that listening to a Christian podcast or artist has improved my mood!

Praying without ceasing- Continuously talking to God is so so important!! 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says “Never stop praying”, that means that we should always be talking to God just as if he was right with us!!
