EASY FRENCH ONION SOUP

FRENCH ONION SOUP 🧅

Serves 3-4

-2 yellow onions

-4 c beef broth

-1 garlic clove

-1 tbs Worcestershire

-1 thyme sprig

-1/4 stick of butter

-1/4 cup mozzarella cheese

-1/4 cup croutons

1.) melt the butter

2) add both thinly sliced onions

3.) add the thyme

4.) cook down on medium heat until onions are caramelized (15-20 minutes)

5.) add Worcestershire and minced garlic clove.

6.) cook for 5 minutes over medium heat

7.) add in beef broth and simmer for 20 minutes

8. ladle into baking safe bowls and top with croutons and cheese.

9.) broil on High until cheese is brown and bubbly
