Jamaican Oxtail Recipe! I must say, hands down Oxtail is our favorite Jamaican dish to cook and to EAT. We prefer to do our oxtails the old fashion way; by boiling it on the stove top. After we brown our oxtails, we add it back to the pot, add some water,seasonings and let it boil until it’s tender falling off the bones. There are many other ways to cook Jamaican oxtails: many prefer to use slow cookers and pressure cookers for cooking oxtail because it cuts the time. But boiling it on the stovetop for 2-4 hours is worth the wait in our opinion.
