6 AFFORDABLE date ideas for you & ur besties in 🇸🇬

wanna go on a date with your besties but you're on a tight budget? don't worry, i've put together 6 #DateIdeas that i've done #WithMyBesties that are both affordable and just as fun as going for more expensive dates 😚

1️⃣ have a picnic at botanic gardens 🧺

this is honestly such an underrated activity as i rarely go on picnic dates or even suggest doing them when meeting my friends! however, my recent picnic date with this bunch changed my mind as i had so much fun chatting and having our meal while enjoying the scenic view and sunny weather ☀️ budget wise, you definitely have the freedom to choose what you want for your meals so that's pretty much settled 👍🏻

2️⃣ cafe hopping ☕️

as someone who loves to try out new food spots, cafe hopping is a perfect activity for the occasion! while it can be pretty costly going on a cafe hopping date, my friends and i always made sure to do our research before heading down to the cafes😌 on days where we're on a tighter budget, we'll go for cafes with lunch/ student promos and we'll usually share various mains and sides instead of ordering them separately!

3️⃣ capturing memories at photo booths 📷

with an increasing number of photo booths and studios opening in singapore, i simply just can't missed this out! as someone who loves taking these photos, this is definitely one of #MyGoTo date activities and it's such a great way to capture moments🥹 most of them are priced quite affordably too, roughly around $10 for 2 strips!

📌 among these 3 photos booths, i'd say my favourite one would be life4cut😌 i love the print quality of these photos as well as the the range of natural filters! i also like how they have quite quite a variety of props to choose from, though this might differ from one outlet to another.

4️⃣ visiting museums 🏛️

did you know that you can get free admission to most museums in singapore with just your local and/ or student concession❓if you don't, NOW YOU DO🤩 even if you might not be interested in museums, i'd suggest making use of your concession and start visiting museums and/ or exhibitions that interest you! who knows, you might just need that extra push to venture out and try something out of your comfort zone~

5️⃣ singing your hearts out at karaokes 🎤

we can't talk about date ideas without mentioning karaokes! as you all know, karaokes are my all time favourite activity and i can safely say 50% of my outings has karaoke in it🤣 while it can be costly depending of the brand and well as the cost per pax/ hour, i always make sure to take advantage of promos to get the #BestDeals 😼 feel free to check out my karaoke post for my karaoke spots reccs

6️⃣ movie dates 🎬

last but least, we have movie dates! though it may not be as common as it used to be, one thing that keeps me going to cinemas , aside from interesting movies, is the low cost🙌🏻 in comparison to other age groups, students ONLY have to pay about $7 during weekdays for a ticket whereas a normal movie ticket would cost around $10+🍿hence, if you're still a student and you're a movie lover, you should definitely grab onto this opportunity and make use of it whenever you can before you enter the workforce 😋
