running out of places to hang out with your friends? may i suggest, going back to the old-school board games cafe😼

if you haven't heard of it already, the mind cafe is one of the unique cafes in sg, where you get to have enjoy both food and drinks as well as a variety of #boardgames 🤩 this factor alone makes it such an ideal hangout spot for all and it's safe to say that i had a great time there #WithMyBesties ! let me share with you how my day at the mind cafe went 😌

— WHICH GAMING PACKAGE DID WE OPTED FOR?

one thing i love about this cafe is that there's so many gaming packages you can choose from, based on how much time and money you'll like to spend at the cafe!

as we reached the cafe around 8pm, we opted for the night fever gaming package, which allows us to

✅ play as long as we want till it's closing hours (aka 2am)

✅ get free flow snacks & drinks

— total cost is $18.90 per pax (we went on a tuesday)

❗️while there are cheaper alternatives, we weren't sure what time we'll be finished with the games and we didn't want to risk paying $8 for an hour extension when the night fever gaming package exists😮‍💨 hence, that was our rationale for opting the night fever package!

— FREE FLOW SNACKS & DRINKS

you can definitely to find your classic favourite brands like lay and doritos as well as snacks such as prawn crackers and nacho chips! as for drinks, there's a wide range for both hot and cold like the usual latte, milo and green tea as well as unique ones like earl grey milk tea! and you know what's the best part about this? while refilling the snacks & drinks for free, you get to change it up each round or simply stick to the ones you've gotten from the start, it's all up to you !!! 🤩

— WHICH GAMES DID WE PLAYED?

i love how the store organizes the games into various categories! from x no. of player to genres like strategy and family, it makes it so much easier to find the games we wanna play! since there's no limit, all of us took a few games each though we ended up playing the following games:

❗️if there's ONE thing you need to take away from the games section, you MUST PLAY JENGA !!! it's such a thrilling game to play and we even split ourselves into 2 teams and set punishments for the losing team😆 it wouldn't be an understatement to say that you can spend hours just by playing this🤣

before ending this post, here's a summary of what my friends and i enjoyed from our visit and why you should make this your next hangout spot 🙌🏻

1️⃣ attractive gaming packages! while you might have some board or card games at home, it doesn't beat the wide variety the mind cafe has and who knows, you may find some new gems during your visit😉

2️⃣ free flow snacks & drinks! since everything is part of the gaming package, you don't have to worry about spending extra money on food and drinks! all you gotta do is just enjoy the ride~

3️⃣ it's conveniently located in town (like it's literally opp sota and just a few minutes away from grid mall) ✋🏻

4️⃣ you can even hold a mini birthday celebration here! while this wasn't planned beforehand, the cafe staff kindly brought out some birthday props and decor as we wanted to surprise one of our friends' as an advance birthday celebration🥳
