Colour Correcting Palette for ONLY $10 🤩

As a person with a lot of pigmentation and discolouration, it’s said that a colour correcting palette would be best suitable to even up the skin tone while keeping your makeup light and natural! However, after looking high and low for a colour correcting palette in the brick and mortar stores, I always have no luck as it is either not available, or can cost me up to $70!

Being the thrifty king, I found a reputable China brand, Flortte, that has a colour correcting palette that everyone is raving about in their country! The best part? It’s only $10! 🤩🤩🤩

Before going into my first impressions, here is my current skin type and concern for reference;

1️⃣ Combination skin, with an oily forehead, and dryness around the rest of the region.

2️⃣ Rather obvious discolouration around the face, mainly acne scarring and darker under eyes.

3️⃣ Prefers something that doesn’t require touch up, medium to full coverage but lightweight.

🤩Application🤩

For this particular product, you will want to go in with the warmth of your hands to pick up the product, and then use your preferred tool to apply! I would recommend the brush that came along with it as it provides the most coverage while keeping the product thin and undetactable on your face!

🤩Finish🤩

It is extremely hydrating, so it does leaves a rather bright and dewy finish! If you have oily skin, I would highly suggest to bake your under-eyes, which just means to pat on your favourite translucent powder till it disappears under the eye! It will slightly tone down the dewiness without disturbing the coverage, and it’ll last for a longer period of time!

🤩Coverage🤩

The coverage in this product is absolutely delicious! It’s a medium to full coverage, and it’s totally customisable by the amount you apply!

🤩Longevity🤩

After 6-8 hours, you’ll see signs of oil leaking through but it’s by no means bad looking! At the 12 hour mark, with the baking technique mentioned it just got back to the dewy finish that it has if you only apply this product!

Overall I really love how the Flortte Colour Correcting Palette performed! There might some learning curve especially if you’re new to using a palette like this. So, let me share with you my tips and tricks;

💖 Apply the product thin layer by thin layer! It might cost abit more time, but the results is remarkably more natural!

💖 For acne scars, apply the product at the concern spot, and blend around the edges! That way, you will retain the coverage but still looks seamless!

💖 The palette is totally customisable so don’t be restricted to the colours that they provide! For example, I sometimes mix the peach and beige shade to give me a colour that’s more suitable for my complexion!
