Don’t Miss the Last MoMA Free Entry this Year! 🎟️

NYC is too expensive so let’s keep the fun costs low 🕺

🗓️The last Free Friday at MoMA is going to be on December 1st! It’s always the first Friday of the month. They’re called Uniqlo Fridays and entry is free after 4pm for residents! Just make sure you book tickets ahead of time to show the QR code

🍷They serve drinks, play fun music, and open up all the galleries! Sometimes it can get a little chaotic in certain galleries, but it’s never impossible to find a gallery that isn’t overcrowded

🌳My absolute favorite one was Emerging Ecologies to show how architects tried to aid in the environmental crisis. It had beautiful little models of architect’s designs and it demonstrated an interesting history of designs intended to be landmarks in the US. This exhibit will end in January!

🍽️My favorite nearby spots to eat are:

1) Vida Verde - Mexican cuisine with amazing cocktails, fun music, and multiple floors (including a rooftop!)

2) Urban Hawker - This food hall has multiple options of Asian cuisine, particularly Malaysian/Indonesian. Padi D’NYC has a beef rendang plate that’s a good option for anyone trying Indonesian for the first time!

3) Bengal Tiger - Only a few blocks away and has a 3 course meal for just $25! It comes with so much good food (so many options to choose from!) and I always come home with left overs
