🚇 I wanted to share what I think is the best way to explore the city with minimal subway time as someone who lives here. Yes, I excluded Times Square, but if you must go, visit on day 1 after Bryant Park
What to do in each neighborhood:
📚DAY 1 (You don’t need to do it all! But you can walk from each place to the next)
1) West Village - Food time! A great breakfast spot is Breakfast by Salt’s Cure
2) Chelsea - Little Island, Chelsea Market, Starbucks Reserve, Chelsea Piers/Hudson River Park, Art Galleries
3) Walk the Highline
4) Hudson Yards - The Vessel, The Shops, The Daily Provisions
5) Koreatown - Eat and buy some boba!
6) Bryant Park - Check out the NYPL! It’s free and they offer tours of the gorgeous reading room
7) Grand Central Station (if you want)
8) Rockefeller Center
9) MoMA
🍝DAY 2
1)Staten Island Ferry - Free view of the Statue of Liberty!
2) Financial District - Battery Park, Brookfield Place, 9/11 Memorial, World Trade Center
3) Chinatown/Little Italy - Food, food, and more food. A great affordable dim sum place is Dim Sum Go Go
4) Walk the Brooklyn Bridge
5) Dumbo - Walk around and see the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridge. Go to Time Out Market and it’s rooftop.
6) Bonus: Williamburg and Greenpoint are my favorite neighborhoods that I used to live in that are in Brooklyn
🌳DAY 3
1) Central Park Day - highly recommend biking, skating, visiting the pool, and simply exploring. Sights are everywhere!
2) The Met
3) American Museum of Natural History - Live your Night at the Museum dreams here
