My Birth Story!!

this pregnancy was great but also rough. i didn’t get to fully embrace this pregnancy because of my miscarriage prior to my rainbow baby. I went for my check up and my OB was delivering a baby, so i had to check in with the nurse practitioner. i had THE WORST experience with her. she made me feel like something was wrong, her facial expressions were horrible and after just having a miscarriage - this is the last thing i needed.

i went in for a ultra sound scan and baby was PERFECTLY FINE! she was just measuring a little tiny. and because she was 2 weeks behind i went in for my induction. I hopped on TikTok to see the process and to be honest, i was fearing for my life watching those videos 😂

Induction Day comes! i got checked in, i only slept about an hour because i was so excited LOL! i got hooked up to the Pitocin and it wasn’t bad at all! then the anesthesiologist came in so i can sign the papers in case of an epidural. i asked if it was okay to sign them later, that i wanted to try my best to have my baby as natural as possible. this man LAUGHED IN MY FACE 😂😂 in the event i thought it was so rude. but now that i look back…. i am 5’3” and only weighed 130 while pregnant so i totally understood his reaction lol.

I spent 11 hours in the laboring process before my baby came! i felt all the contractions 3 hours before, my body began to push and i told my nurse to call my doctor! the induction process was SO awesome for me. the delivery was absolutely beautiful and only 11 minutes! AND i did it 100% natural 🤍✨ my nurse told me, that i was the talk of the floor, and everyone kept asking her about me! i had no pain after and i was able to do normal activities as soon as i got home. overall it was a 10/10 time, and i would do it all over again 🩷🩷
