meet my budgies 🦜

imagine your dad texting you a picture of birds without context and you think “oh, cute birds!”… then the next week at a (late) new year’s party, your godfather says “so i have your birds in the car, where i can put them?”

😳 … i didn’t think i was gonna ADOPT THEM ???

but these are my budgies!! the girl is pickle, she’s a dark green, sassy gorl that gets hangry and screams quite a bit. the boy is wonton, he’s a yellow-green chatty boy that loves to annoy pickle on the daily 🥹

i got these two earlier this year and have been on a journey of learning about budgies, how to to care for them, learning their personalities, and getting them accustomed to their new home 🏠

i’m excited to show you guys more of these little guys, as well as share some insight of what i’ve learned this past year taking care of them <3
