my thoughts between BOJ + round lab ☀️

as a strong lover of sunscreen, once i heard about round lab being so similar to beauty of joseon’s relief sun, aka my all time favorite sunscreen, i had to see for myself what the hype was about… i still don’t know what the hype is about because i cannot differentiate between the two 😭🤚🏼

💸 the biggest difference for me is the price point:

round lab is $10 more expensive, and because price is a strong differentiator for me, i would automatically go to beauty of joseon if i had to choose one or run out.

other differences include the ingredients:

🤍 beauty of joseon’s key ingredient is rice and probiotics, which are great ingredients for maintaining skin health and comfort

🩵 round lab’s key ingredients are birch tree sap, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid. these ingredients are great for reducing inflammation, evening out skin tone and discoloration, and maintaining moisture and hydration, respectively.

according to my subjective experience when comparing the two on each side of my face, i honestly cannot say there is a significant difference. both have that soft and creamy consistently that’s thin and slippery on application. both do not leave a white cast and the finishes leave me feeling moisturized with a minimal dew. to me, both are amazing sunscreens that get their job done and protect your skin from harmful sun rays throughout the day.

do you have other opinions? i would love to hear them! i really cannot tell a difference, but maybe you might?
