pack with me for a sleepover 🛌

whenever i won’t be home for a night, i like to pack as minimal and as small as i can 😌 usually my routines are longer at home with bigger bottles, but sometimes i just don’t have the space nor do i want to carry the weight back and forth 🤷🏻‍♀️

for the things i MUST bring with me, i categorize them as my daily necessities 🙌🏼 this includes my contacts, contacts solution and case to store them, as well as my eye drops. i would also bring a pair of glasses just incase. i also have hairties and sometimes i’ll bring a claw clip with me. i pack individually wrapped wipes as they help with storage and are easy to grab when needed. other necessities i like to take with me include hand sanitizer, lip balm, and a pain relief stick for topical use 😄

for a sleepover, i also need my skincare for both day and night. i like to keep this category as minimal as possible because truthfully, my morning and nighttime routine are more than 3 steps each, but i cannot be carrying all of my stuff just for one night (unless you’re extra then i say go for it). luckily, a basic skincare routine only needs a cleanser, toner or serum, and a moisturizer. for the night i add in a makeup remover/oil cleanser on hand. in the morning, i make sure to pack my sunscreen ☀️

the final category is my hygiene stuff, which would be anything that makes me clean or has me smelling good 🧖🏻‍♀️ this would include my toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant, and perfume. i also like to throw in a lotion, but this optional. if you choose to shower overnight or in the morning after, you can always pack your shower necessities in travel sized containers or find the minis in travel sections at Target, Walmart, or CVS!
