facial cleansers for oily, acne-prone skin 🧖🏻‍♀️

there are so many cleansers on the market, but i’m here to show you my two faves as someone with oily, acne-prone skin 🫧

the niacinamide cleansing gelée 3% cleanser from naturium is my current go-to as it’s lightweight and leaves my face feeling fresh and clean 💚 the niacinamide is also great to help treat post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, so it’s kind of like a two for one! it foams up when applied to damp skin, but doesn’t leave my face feeling dry after washing 👍🏼

my second favorite is the toleriane purifying foaming cleanser by la roche-posay. this is another foaming cleanser for normal to oily skin types who also have sensitivity concerns🧴with the addition of humectants, such as glycerin, my skin does not feel dried out after washing— which is a good thing because when oily skin is dried, the skin will just produce more oil— that’s just the nature of having oily skin. the key is to maintain hydration to control oil production, and i think this cleanser does just that! 🩵
