New Product Review

I have been seeing the Skala Brazilian hair products all over YouTube and Instagram. Apparently they are cheaper and better than American curly hair products. My curiosity finally peaked and I decided to try one for myself… only I think I used it completely wrong lol.

I did a little research prior to purchasing and again before applying it on my hair. Both times that I googled I found different answers. One search said you could use it as a styling cream/ leave-in and another said you could use it as a conditioning mask.

I decided to use it as a pre-poo treatment and I think it was somewhat of a fail. My hair still felt super soft and I was able to detangle, but I start getting those white clumps you get when two products don’t mix well. I guess what ever styling cream/gel I had before did not mix well.

I think this product has the potential to live up to the hype I just need to use it properly lol (the instructions are in Portuguese and I could not understand) Nonetheless I will try again maybe as a deep conditioning treatment after shampooing and see how that goes. Overall rating is a 3 for now.
