pizookie recipe

I love pizookies and they’re a nice easy sub for chocolate chip cookies!

Ingredients

* 1 cup unsalted butter

* 31/4 cups flour

* 1 1/4 tsp baking powder

* 1 tsp baking soda

* 1 tsp salt

* 11/2 cups brown sugar

* 1/2 cup granulated sugar

* 2 eggs

* 2 tsps vanilla

* Chocolate chips

Instructions

1. preheat oven to 365F

2. melt butter in a small saucepan

3. in a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

4. pour melted butter into large mixing bowl. whisk in brown and granulated sugar.

5. add eggs one at a time, whisking after each, then mix in vanilla.

6. add dry ingredients to wet ingredients slowly (1/4 - 1/2 cup at a time). Once combined, add chocolate chips.

7. spread the dough out onto an oven safe pan or skillet. Bake for 22-24 minutes. Top with ice cream and eat straight out of the pan!
