I LOVEE chicken piccata and made it for the first time yesterday (amazing!) here’s the recipe I used ◡̈

ingredients :

2 large chicken breasts

Salt and pepper+ garlic powder (to your liking)

Flour(for coating chicken before frying)

4 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/4 cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon lemon juice + zest of 1 lemon

1 tablespoon of brined capers (drained)

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

Parsley/parmesan cheese for garnish

I made this for 3 people and doubled the recipe, I had a little extra

directions :

1. Slice the chicken butterfly style and trim off any fat. Season chicken generously with salt pepper and garlic powder then Coat the chicken in flour

2. Add 2 tablespoons of the butter into a pan, along with all the olive oil over medium high heat. Once the pan is hot , cook chicken until golden Brown (about 4-5 minutes on each side) and transfer to plate.

3. Take the pan off the heat and add lemon juice, lemon zest, chicken broth , capers and remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Scrape up any bits on the bottom of the pan.

4. Stir in the cream and put the pan back on the heat. Once bubbling, add the chicken back into the pan!

5. Cook for another 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked all the way through (165 degrees) and garnish with parsley and Parmesan if desired! #Lemon8Diary #recipes #chickenpiccata #yummy #cooking #smallcreators ⭐️Overall rating: 5/5!
