Meet Walter 👋🦴

This is Walter, my 2.5 year old basset hound. His personality is even bigger than his ears and he always has to be the loudest dog at the park. 🐾

Walter is kind of notorious for having bad luck. He’s had insane hot spots, gotten stung by a bee, had a spider bite that is now a bald spot scar on his side, and so many other misadventures. Last year he swallowed a rock and while that was definitely the most stressful time, it turned into a funny memory when he got rated a 13/10 by THE WeRateDogs for the whole thing. 🪨

Walter is a little road trip warrior and has visited 6 states so far, from the sunny beaches of California to a spooky ghost town in Montana. I have so many more places I want to take him to, maybe Colorado is next? 🚗

During one of our road trips we actually got to meet Walter’s littermate brother, Elmer! They look almost identical and have such similar personalities. Elmer and his family live a couple hours away so we try to meet up at least once a year 💕

One thing about Walter is that he LOVES being outside. He can run through the snow for days in the winter, and in summer he spends his time sunbathing and protesting going back inside ☀️
