Use cardio as a tool when it comes to fat loss! You don’t have to run/walk every day, but if your goal is to lose weight, cardio can help!

🤍 LISS: this should feel easy, low intensity. this is considered ZONE 2 cardio. think high incline treadmill walk for 30-60min. you should be able to hold a conversation while walking. you could even take this cardio outside for a light walk around the neighborhood.

🤍 HIIT: takes less time, but more intense. HIIT should be done no more than 3x a week. it is stressful on the body, but uses carbohydrates as its’s #1 fuel source! think sprints on the treadmill or medball slams, keeping your rest time short. these are all out sprints!

🤍 My Takeaways: everyone is different when it comes to

their fitness goals, you don’t have to do either, but I recommend getting no less than 12k steps in per day of cardio isn’t your thing. Again, this could entail your every day life, going to work or the grocery store and then adding in walks throughout the day when you have time to hit your step goal.
