Is dododots worth the hype ✨🤔

when I saw that the viral dododots beauty patches have landed in sg, i ran to get them.

BUT are they worth the hype 🤔🤔

spoiler : im kinda on the fence 😫

i was always seeing on tiktok that they are a pretty decent pimple patch and that they are also pretty which was a win-win situation.

which i would not disagree, i think they are actually a decent pimple patch. it did do its job of calming/flattening my pimple.

however, these particular style ones are THICK and it made it hard to stick them on my face 😩 for example: i have this massive pimple on my forehead and i used the cloud one to cover it BUT i had to press them down for really long before it would really stick to my skin.

this is more of a personal preferance but i don't exactly like wearing it out. when i use pimple patches especially when im out, it is usually to HIDE my pimple but with dododots they kinda highlight the fact that i have a pimple.. 🫠🫠

additionally (this might seem nasty ++ another personal preferance) but i sort of find satisfaction when i see the gunk being SUCKED OUT on the pimple patch so i was slightly bummed i could not see it 😔

if i am being honest, they are kinda expensive for pimple patches that are gonna be thrown away after a whole day.. i mean you can definitely find cheaper ones on the market for much lesser. like the Olive Young ones are like $6 for 100pcs!! you girl math it.

in conclusion, like i said previously, you can find similar quality ones for much lesser 👍 unless you are in it for the aesthetics then ig go for it~ but would i recommend it to someone else.. not really. just go for Cosrx or the Olive Young ones 😊 but i would not deny they are cute ☺️
