Before I begin.. I want to clarify that I have an anxious attachment style, so that means I need more assurance and may be overly dependent on my partner for validation... and yes it's not the best but I'm learning how to manage this ~ what I share may not be the most suitable for other attachment styles but it did help me cope a bit better with my anxieties!
1️⃣ 𝗧𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝟭-𝟮 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁-𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀/𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼!
Again this depends on every couple! My partner and I are more clingy to each other so we prefer to see each other more often so i personally see him for half days on some weekends, and 2-3 full-day dates.
During peak busy periods in school, we would just meet to study together and have a nice dinner afterwards to reward us both~
2️⃣ 𝗗𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳
I personally try to do yoga after signing up for a yoga class package! When I am more mentally available, I will write songs and just rework some of the older stuff I have written. It helps me rediscover myself before I started dating, and revisiting my older writings is a nice way to revisit the feelings then too~
3️⃣ 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 👯♀️ & 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 👨👩👧👧
Since it is peak study period for me in school now, I am often studying so I ask my friends to study w me a lot more... or even study by myself in the library (with a lovely view!!) to keep myself accountable. I also try to go home more often for dinner because it is the only time I see them since I am usually too busy.
are u like me too? i rly want to get some tips on how to cope better since it’s a stressful period of time for me now 🥹🥹🙏🏻
