Skip the Foundation this Summer & Use Skin Tint!

it’s the summertime and we DO! NOT! want to feel like we have a full pound of foundation on our face, nor do we want it to melt off 🥵 this is how i get glowy, hydrated, full coverage with skin tint.

first things first, i use alleyoop’s “sunsational” SPF 50 skin tint. use whichever skin tint that works best for you, but if you’re on the hunt for a reef-safe, alcohol-free skin tint, i’d highlight recommend this one.

before i even apply my skin tint, i do my facial skincare routine. this makes sure that my face is all good to go for the day! i then apply my skin tint 15 minutes before stepping outside. i add a good quarter sized amount to my cheeks and spread with my hands, making sure it seeps deep into my skin and not sitting on top of it.

that’s it! as you could see in the third photo, it gives you a natural look, without looking too cakey. i always make sure to reapply, as needed, every 2 hours.
