Popped by the popular 3 meals a day outlet at Sim Lim Square yesterday to try the popular and raving salted egg chicken rice! Happy to say that it totally didn’t disappoint and it was worth the trip!

My boyfriend ordered the salted egg chicken rice and I ordered the butter chicken rice + eggs with two teh o peng! Price point-wise, this place is pretty affordable and good to visit if you are on a budget-friendly date!

You can taste the creaminess and spiciness of the salted egg and butter!! Both dishes were also served alongside the keropok crackers which complement the dish with its crunchiness 😋

Butter chicken was good but the salted egg chicken rice easily takes the cake! It was just so tasty and I really love how soft and tender the chicken was and the salted egg was a chef's kiss 😙🤌🏻

There was a short queue but it moved pretty quickly so we didn’t have to wait for long! 10/10 Would definitely visit this place again for my salted egg chicken rice cravings fixed if i am nearby this area!
