my honest reviews on 3 pet cafes in jb!

there are so many pet cafes in jb that I’m sure you’ve heard of on this very app, and thanks to those recommendations, I’ve been to 3 myself!!!

🐾 Shiba Cafe

💰 Price: $ ~8/pax

Review: place was quite small but that’s great because it means we got to interact more with the dogs!!! (since their play area is only this small) owners were SUPER friendly ☺️ and nice, gave us free treats to play with the dogs even though we didn’t buy the treats!! and carried dogs and put them on our laps 🤣 the owners also introduced us the names of the dogs and where they came from so it was super nice to hear their backstories 😊 the dogs were also SUPERR active and for the price, I think it’s really worth!! but I’d say the dogs weren’t super affectionate and would only come to you if you have food 😂

Review: play area was much bigger and I loved how they had a ‘show’, because they only released the bigger dogs 15mins after and it was like a major dog parade where the HUGE dogs just run out so it was p cool!! 🤩 I think the smaller dogs were a lot easier to play with, and I’d say there were a WIDE variety of dogs there!!! we also got to take a free polaroid home taken with the doggos so that was quite a cute souvenir 🥹 overall, this is more on the expensive side and I’d say only come here if you’ve a lot more budget on your hands!

Review: the cafe was super pretty and cozy, and the cats were really cute and fluffy 😛 super cute!!! just that the cats were all sleepy and didn’t wna play (we visited around 2 fyi) so much avoid after lunch time since they’d all be sleepy… generally a chill and quiet place to just laze with cats imo!! the cats also weren’t super friendly and wouldn’t just approach you so you’d have to keep shifting around just to get their attention 🥶
