my bf and i rang in the new month by visiting the annual filfest in portsmouth! the weather was perfect for such a fun event.

this free outdoor festival celebrates filipino culture! all the vendors were so kind and inviting and the vibes were so welcoming.
⟟ mae mae’s filipino coffee
this coffee business is owned by my friend mae! she sources her coffee from local farms in the philippines. her mission is to show the 757 the brilliance of filipino coffee, hoping to give it the notoriety it once had. she had lattes on the menu that were super unique like peach cobbler and cinnamon roll, which are normally my speed… but i decided to get out of my comfort zone and tried the ube latte! my boyfriend got a white chocolate latte and both drinks were amazing!
⟟ cocoi’s kitchen
this pastry business, named after the owner’s son makes the most beautiful and unique filipino themed brioche donuts! it was so tempting not to buy everything, but i held out and got the leche flan, calamansi, ube, buko pandan. all of the donuts were soooo good and soft!
