weekend beach trip

ahhh what a perfect way to start off the new year!

me and my best friend LOVE the beach, and neither of us have been to one in the winter. thankfully we planned this short little weekend trip. we got to experience the most wonderful things, and escape the cold missouri weather for just a little bit!

red eyes are never fun because i cannot get myself to sleep on planes, however i pushed through and made it all the way through the day friday without sleeping.

the beach was so beautiful, but SO windy!! i wish i brought warmer clothes. i checked the weather before we went but didn’t realize how much the wind effects how cold it actually is.

regardless, spending time in the sun is always a cure to my seasonal depression. i loved this trip and am sad to have to return to kc while it’s on the brink of a winter storm. aghhhh!
