🌞 my perfect wedding - pt. 2 - 🌞

🌞- our ceremony was written by my husband and me; every word reflecting the kind of couple we want to be. We eliminated all forms of misogyny and remnants of anti-feminist language and ideals from our ceremony, and added excerpts from Shakespeare and details about pushing each other to be better artists.

🌞- the portraits and group photos went SO well! I am so pleased with the photos we got!!!

🌞- our guests were mainly made up of our undergrad classmates and professors - all of whom are in the theatrical and entertainment industry. As BFA Musical Theatre majors, ourselves, it was only natural that we had a vocal duet, and a tap dance duet!

🌞- the party was AMAZING! Once the music started, the dancing didn’t stop until the very end of the night! Fun sunnies were circulating all around the party! 🕶️

🌞- the cake was gifted to us (as well as all of the wine!) by a sweet faculty member who owns a bakery!!! Our cake was Italian Cream with buttercream frosting. ABSOLUTELY DECADENT 🤤

🌞- our send-off was so much fun, full of light, and encouraging cheers to send us on our way.

Our wedding was a gigantic “going-away” party, as we moved across the country only 4 days later.

The party of the century ~ I wouldn’t change a thing. 🤎
