Downsizing my jeans without sewing! ($1.50 hack)

This is definitely one of my best shopee finds! I needed to alter my jeans as the waist was too big but the tailor I go to told me that it’s not easy to alter jeans (difficult to find the same denim thread etc). I went online to find tailors to alter jeans and realised it costs >$20! This shopee item is just $1.50

The item works like a hook system! It helps you bring the fabric from one side closer to the other, basically cinching it!
