Our Fav SG Private Onsen Experience! ♨️

Not gatekeeping this anymore bc it’s one of my favourite places to relax & I hope their business continues forever 😩

Joya Onsen has been my go-to whenever I’d like to just have a good soak and want to reward myself! Here’s what you can expect:

📌 They have both public (separated by genders) and private onsens, but I’ve never stepped into the public one bc I don’t have the courage to 😹

📌 The private onsen offers a sauna room & a pool to soak!

📌 What I love about the private onsen is how well-equipped it is. There’s a shower area with shampoo and body wash for you, a water dispenser for you to stay hydrated, a hair dryer, tables and stools for you to put your stuffs etc! The public onsen areas are also equipped with all these (i took a peek) 🌿

📌 It’s a 1.5h session - you’ll be given a buzzer to remind you when time’s up

📌 Prices vary depending on how many pax you are going to the private onsen with (or you can go alone too), but for 2 pax it’s $132 ✨

📌 You can rent their yukatas for free in this Klook package 🤍 if you’re not sure how to wear it, the staff can help you out too!

📌 They have a wide variety of Japanese food in their cafe too, so do set aside time to enjoy it after your soak! Here’s the menu 🍡

The location isn’t convenient though, since it’s all the way at Joo Koon, but I’d travel there any day for a relaxing and out-of-the-world moment 😩

I’m aware that joya onsen isn’t the only one in sg that offers a private onsen experience, but it was definitely the most value for money amongst the ones I searched about (ikeda spa / elements wellness)
