I’ve been transitioning from hypertrophy to strength training and have made quite a few adjustments to how I train!
I was lifting 5x a week which had 3 lower and 2 upper body days. Each of these workouts were in the 8-12 reps range along with cardio everyday for 30 minutes. I was also in a calorie deficit.
Now, my routine is focused on strength training 4x a week with a lower rep range of 3-8! I don’t do cardio on the days that I lift and I have two “active rest” days. One of these days I typically do the stair master and the other day I do an incline walk!
