JU95🏮- Save this spot for your next date!! 🤤😋

My girlfriend's birthday 🎂 was coming up and I wanted to find a special place to take her out for a nice meal. I did some research on Lemon8 🍋 and found JU95, a modern izakaya restaurant with a fresh take on contemporary fusion cuisine. The restaurant is located along Boat Quay and has a great atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious 😋.

We started off with the Parfait Ju ($18), one of their signature dishes with raw mushroom 🍄 and cookies. It was a unique and flavorful dish that was the perfect way to start our meal. We also tried the Cold Angel Hair ($27) with scallop tartare and truffle, which was super yummy 🤤. The scallops were fresh and the truffle added a nice touch of flavor.

For our main course, we had the Hay smoked hamachi 🎣 ($30), which was absolutely delicious 🤤. The hamachi was perfectly cooked and the sweet and sour berry sauce was the perfect complement. For our second main course, we tried the Grilled baby squid donabe squid🦑 ($47), which was packed with umami and delicious! The seaweed rice when mixed with a generous amount of grilled baby squid, shimeji mushroom and umami ikura is a umami bomb 💥.

For dessert, we had the ice cream sandwiches ($14) and the Hornychiwa ($22), a gin cocktail with cherry 🍒 and salted caramel. Both were delicious and the perfect way to end our meal.

To our surprise, the staff gave us a complimentary dessert since it was my girlfriend's birthday. It was the Taste of Japan, which had yoghurt ice cream 🍨 and is a must try for all matcha fans 🍵.

Overall, we had a wonderful time at JU95 and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to celebrate a special occasion. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. We will definitely be back!
