SECRET BAR hidden behind a MAMASHOP?!? 🍸

Introducing #MyGoTo speakeasy bar located along Prinsep Street, Mama Diam. From the outside, it looks like a traditional Mama shop, complete with old HDB seats. But once you step in, you'll find a cosy and intimate bar with great ambiance that is perfect for a night out with friends. 🎉

The atmosphere was excellent, and the staff were super attentive and nice, making our visit to Mamadiam a memorable one. 🤩 The drinks were also served promptly, and we were impressed by the unique presentation of the cocktails. 🍸

The first drink I tried was the Chai Tarik Brew, made up of whisky, butterscotch, and pulled milk tea. It was served in a metal condensed milk tin, which was a nice touch and something that we all are familiar with. The aroma was pleasing, and I would recommend this drink to anyone who enjoys milk tea. 😋 However, I would advise finishing it quickly as the drink doesn't taste as nice once it gets warm. 💡 The damage caused by this drink is $18. 💰

Next up was the Childhood Delight cocktail, made up of rum, peppermint, and white rabbit candy milk 🍬. As a fan of white rabbit candy during my childhood, I was excited to try this cocktail.

Unfortunately, the peppermint flavor was a little too strong, and I couldn't taste the white rabbit candy. 😔 I would only recommend this drink to people who love peppermint-flavored drinks. The damage caused by this drink is $20. 💸

The third cocktail I tried was the Kopi Cino, which was my favorite of the night. Made up of Soju, Kahlua, espresso, and raspberry cream, this drink was really smooth and well-balanced. The creamy mix with the coffee was delightful, and I would recommend this drink to all the coffee lovers out there. 😍 The damage caused by this drink is $22. 💰

Lastly, we tried the Kaya shots, which came in a tray of six. The shots were made of tequila, pandan, coconut, pineapple, and sugar, and they were really nice. I even thought that I could drink it as a cocktail itself rather than as shots. However, the drink might be too sweet for some, and if you're looking to get hammered, I wouldn't recommend it as it's not too strong. The damage caused by this drink is $38. 💸

Mamadiam is a speakeasy bar that you should definitely check out if you're looking for a unique drinking experience in Singapore. Just be mindful of where you're seated and avoid the entrance if possible, as the bright light from the outside can be a little disruptive!
