How do y’all deal with pubic hair?

I'm a college junior from a very conservative family, and I've got a question that might be a bit personal but I really need some advice on.

Growing up, hygiene-related topics were never really discussed in my family, and I was completely oblivious to things like shaving armpit hair until my friends mentioned it in high school. Now, as I navigate through college, there's another aspect I'm curious about: pubic hair grooming.

I'm hesitant to ask my friends about this in real life, How do people usually take care of their pubic hair in college? Is shaving the norm, or is it more acceptable to keep things ""natural""?

I've heard differing opinions from friends about shaving armpit hair being acceptable based on what you're wearing, but I'm not sure if the same applies to pubic hair.

I know self-confidence is important, but as someone who's never been in a relationship before, I just want to make sure I'm not stressing over something unnecessarily if it comes up.
