happy lesbian week to all who celebrate!! we are so happy and proud to be lesbians and love all the lesbians around us (nb and trans included) 💖🤍🧡

while we love loving women and feel very grateful to be able to live our lives safely out, there is still so much dumb sh¡t we go through because of our identifies.

things we still deal with as lesbians in 2023:

- being sexualized (“you two should kiss to prove you’re gay”)

- being invalidated (“you just haven’t met the right guy yet”)

- the word “lesbian” not auto populating on @google??

- having a girlfriend that steals all your favorite clothes 😒

grateful for this week that allows us to open up the conversation about what it's really like to be a lesbian. what other struggles do lesbians still face today that we didn't mention?
