Huh, east malaysia got things meh? You’ll be surprised!! If you’re a nature and food lover, read on!

📌Day 1

⭐️Breakfast: Sin Chong Choon cafe (food was so-so, but the three layer milk tea was superb!!)

⭐️Check in at Kiyau Campsite (abt an 1 hr drive away from kuching, can possibly book a driver from the homestay. Absolutely stunning experience!! Located at the border between malaysia and indonesia, you can choose to go for a hike to the nearby waterfall or the border area, or simply chill at the dome tent while taking in the breathtaking scenery (we even caught a double rainbow 😍). Bear in mind theres quite some mosquitoes, so pls bring along repellant!

📌Day 2

⭐️Breakfast @ homestay area (if you wake up early, you will see a mesmerising sea of clouds ☁️

Your

⭐️Back to Kuching -> Borneo Happy Farm (see cute guinea pigs or even zipline across)

⭐️Dinner @ siniawan night market (recommend to also visit The Post - the hakka food there was amazing)

📌Day 3

⭐️Morning coffee @ Earthlings coffee workshop (as a coffee lover, it was amazing to find really true sarawakian coffee. They work with farmers directly to grow quality coffee.

⭐️breakfast @ arakie smoke haus (serves the best sarawak tomato mee here for me)

⭐️Fairy caves - quite a distance away from the city, but a must visit. The whole structure is magnificent, but with some spice of thrill in the darkness

⭐️dinner @ kantin at the granary (serves local sarawak food with a twist. The dry sarawak laksa was packed with flavour!!)

⭐️supper @ topspot food court (its like the newton food centre, except that the tzechar standard is much higher. Must try the local midin, a veg that you can only taste and find in sarawak!!

📌Day 4

⭐️breakfast @ kim joo (what a trip to the land of kolo mee without kolo mee right. Would personally say its one of the better kolo mees)

⭐️coffee @ yia coffee (meh - dont visit. Its quite weird for me that they are using entry level coffee machines)

⭐️carpenter street (eat at lau ya keng foodcourt, theres also a famous tau suan there. Rmb to buy some souvenirs such as kek lapis, pepper and rice crackers!!)

⭐️sememggoh nature reserve (nice experience to see wild orangutans. Come on time at the opening to watch the feeding session)

⭐️massage @ attiya spa (absolutely amazing, while not as affordable as jb, the hair spa was really relaxing and soothing)

⭐️dinner @ lepau (serves indigenous sarawak food. Must try the umai - raw fish salad, always amazed at how the raw fish salad taste diff from the sashimi we always eat. Its like chicken meat here!! Pansuh chicken was good too)

⭐️supper @ ceylonese restaurant (decent, but the cheese naan wasnt amazing)

Kuching is amazing!! To add on some tips, its recommended to rent a car there (which is very cheap). Please add this as part of your bucket list 😊😊
