Skin cancer

Right before my summer vacation I went for a regular skin checkup. The dermatologist decided to remove what I thought were moles. A week later those moles came back with cancer cells. I have to go back to get more removed.

This was eye opening as I loved to sit out in the sun and tan. I would put sunscreen on once in the day when I was at the beach and thought that was enough. This time around that’s not the case. I made sure to put on sunscreen every hour, stay out of the hard sun and wear SPF shirt.

Remember girlies, sunscreen is good for you!
