Why do we neglect the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is the third part of the Holy Trinity. Yet the Holy Spirit is the one we’d neglect, the most. We often say thank you God, thank you Jesus whenever we are in a situation that we are being brought out of but what about the Holy Spirit? So don’t get me wrong God is our father, and Jesus is the son of the living God, who died for our sins, which granted us redemption through him.

But the Holy Spirit is the one who stayed after Jesus ascended to heaven. The Holy Spirit is a comforter and a teacher, and who is always there to guide us. Yet, the Holy Spirit is overlooked and often neglected. Let’s change that! Yes we thank God for everything he has done and continues to do for us. Yes we thank Jesus Christ for being a teacher, a healer as well as loving us so much to die on the cross for us and resurrect.
