Should I start vlogging?

hey guys so basically I’ve wanted to be a youtuber for as long as I could remember (I have old youtube videos from middle school out there somewhere😭) but no one really even watches youtube anymore. Should I just make a channel and post on it anyway just for fun or should I post mini vlogs on my tiktok? Either way I just want to be able to have something to look back on in the future because my life right now is pretty interesting and at the same time creating content has been an interest of mine forever.
