I’m a tired mom of a special needs child…

And it’s ok for me to rest!

I’ve spent so many years exhausted and barely holding it together, ppl always say “idk how you do it” “I wish I was as strong as you” ect….

I’m not strong. I’m exhausted. I’m not strong I’m just doing what I have to do. Wanna know how I do it? I JUST DO!! I don’t have a choice! Someone has to be her voice and that voice is me! If I fail I fail us both!

It’s amazing what you can do when you have someone truly, deeply, completely relying on you for EVERYTHING!!

BUT…I am trying to learn that it’s ok to rest! You cannot pour from an empty cup and trust me, it will empty!
