Mistakes NOT to make in Egypt: Part 1🚫

Egypt is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. However, you need proper planning and preparation to ensure you have a great time. Here is my series on mistakes NOT to make in Egypt👇🏽

#1 NOT booking a tour guide

Some people try to skip out on booking a guide, however this is the number one mistake I see travelers make. Not only will a guide teach you Egyptian history, they will help you cut lines at popular attractions, prevent hagglers, keep you safe and show you hidden gems. This is the key to having a great trip!

#2 Traveling to Egypt in July or August

These are the hottest months in the year. The sun is very intense and the temperature ranges from 90-100 degrees each day. I recommend traveling late May, September for warm weather that’s good for swimming or fall/spring for moderate weather.

#3 Wearing Revealing Clothing

You want to avoid wearing crop tops, short skirts, short shorts, etc because Egypt is a very religious country. You will get unwanted attention and it is perceived to be very rude. I recommend wearing long dresses to take beautiful pictures and be modest.
