TIPS FOR MOVING INTO A SHARED PLACE

After getting the plans set in place for the past few months, I wanted to share some thoughts I had about the whole process of finalizing my move to a shared apartment with two of my friends. It’s definitely not the easiest process but can be so fun!

1. Take photos of the space before any shopping, planning, etc. it definitely helps to visualize where everything will be.

2. On a lazy day, take some time to explore your new neighborhood or the towns around it. You’ll feel way more comfortable rather than feeling like the new kid on the block.

3. Take time to really get to know who you’ll be living with. It takes the awkward out of the first little while after moving in! #movingin #sharedspace #roomates #apartment
