Review of Jacks Wife Frida in SoHo

Well this isn’t my favorite restaurant in NYC, it’s definitely a great option for everyone with unbeatable outdoor seating. In my opinion, the best location of Jack's Wife Freda is their Lafayette St location, looking out over SoHo.

What I’ve Tried:

🥑🥐: Mashed Avocado on Seed bread ($18) with a poached egg (+$4) with cherry tomato jam, pickled carrots, and za’atar. This is a classic breakfast staple and comes with a side of either French fries or salad. Is it life changing, no. Is it good and hits the spot, yes.

🥒: Fried Zucchini Chips ($15) are life changing! They come with a smoked paprika aioli and they’re absolutely delicious. Definitely get these as a starter to share with the table.

🍳🥖: Jack’s breakfast ($29) is apparently one of the best things on the menu. I haven’t tried it due to dietary restrictions, but many of my friends order it everytime.

🧀🍅: Poched Eggs with Roasted Tomato ($18) and Haloumi is very tasty! It come with crunchy toast. A very warm, filling breakfast for vegetarians.

To Drink: Iced Coffee with oatmilk! ☕️ Their coffee is ok. It’s not my favorite but it’s not bad.

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
