Wow, just had an amazing 24 hours in Hainan, China

Let me take you through all the incredible things I experienced during my short but action-packed trip!

First stop was Qilou Old Street, a hidden gem filled with charming old buildings and mouthwatering local delights. Exploring the narrow streets and indulging in the delicious street food was a treat for all my senses.

Unfortunately, it started raining, but that didn't dampen our spirits. Our driver dropped us off at Mix C Mall, and I was blown away by its impressive interior reminiscent of Orchard Ion. It was the perfect place to wait out the rain and do some window shopping.

Once the weather cleared up, we headed to the famous Haikou Bay Pavilion via the scenic Shiji Bridge. Though the white stairs were closed off, I managed to capture some stunning shots with the picturesque blue sky in the background. We even stumbled upon a nearby mall where we saw our dream car!

Next on our itinerary was the Cloudscape of Haikou, a newly opened library by the bay. Despite the cloudy day, we were treated to incredible light shows due to the ongoing labor day celebration. Just a tip: make sure to reserve your spot in advance if you want to explore the library's impressive interior.

By 8 pm, our stomachs were growling, and we headed straight to the famous Haida Night Market. It was buzzing with people and filled to the brim with tantalizing street food options. Finding seats was a challenge, but starting from the less crowded end of the street was a great strategy.

Since we didn't fill up completely at the night market, we decided to try McDonald's supper menu. Surprisingly, the marinated chicken bones turned out to be super yummy! We also made a quick stop at the Top United Mall, a trendy spot frequented by young locals, but we arrived quite late, so most shops were closed. Lesson learned: plan to visit earlier next time!

We were in the mood for some drinks, but most bars required us to order and pay via a payment app, which we didn't have. Luckily, we stumbled upon a funky-looking place with a giant transformer outside - the StarJokes Beer Room! The boss was incredibly friendly and let us pay with cash. We enjoyed some local brews sitting at a table with safari chairs, creating unforgettable memories.

The next day started with a delightful dim sum experience at a local spot favored by the locals. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lively. Plus, the huge supermarket on the first level had me leaving with a bag filled with tempting snacks.

Before bidding farewell to Hainan, we made a quick stop at the holiday beach to capture some stunning pictures with the observatory tower. The backdrop was breathtaking, making it the perfect ending to our whirlwind adventure.

None of this would have been possible without our trusty driver, who chauffeured us around for the day. They made everything so convenient and allowed us to make the most of our limited time.

Verdict? I am absolutely smitten with Hainan and can't wait to visit again! From the charming old streets to the vibrant night markets, breathtaking bridges, and friendly locals, Hainan has stolen a piece of my heart.
