2022 reflection: intern, uni, content creation

it’s that time of the year again… time for me to reflect on my past year🥹 this year was definitely a year of growth and #GlowUp for me! not only did i step out of my comfort zone to experiment and try out new things, i achieved more than i would have ever imagined in the past.

after completing my alevels and graduating junior college, it was definitely a huge burden relieved. after i collected my results, i knew exactly what i wanted to do in future and thankfully, i managed to get in my dream course😭 it definitely wasn’t easy but i’m so glad with how things turned out.

i also managed to secure an internship and explore a path i was interested in! it definitely made my break before uni so much more fulfilling since i got to occupy myself and gain some experience.

while i was so occupied with my internship, i also somehow met my partner during this period! i’m still very thankful for that till today because he helped get me through some stressful periods of my life.

the months just flew in the blink of an eye and somehow i ended up in university! school started and there’s so many things going on at the same time. to say the least, it was overwhelming. for the first time, i felt so drained because of all the socialising but i’m so proud of myself for gradually growing into the routine of meeting new people and experiencing new things. younger me would never have expected me to try out so many things like modelling or joining a new cca but somehow, i trusted the process and I DID IT😛

lastly, 2022 was where i start to get back into content creation after the hectic 2021. i’m so glad to be given so many opportunities to work with various brands🫶🏻 at times, i struggled juggling content creation with school or work but i knew giving up wasn’t an option so i took charge of what i had on hand, managed my time, set priorities and got through it.

all the things i’ve learnt and achieved wouldn’t have been possible without the accompaniment of the people i love and i owe it to them🥰 i’m so excited to see where 2023 would take me and thank you 2022! you have been great to me🤍
