This is a lovely greek restaurant that is situated in the heart of Tiong Bahru, this restaurant and taverna is the new Mediterranean hotspot in Singapore. BAKALAKI Greek Taverna enriches Singapore’s increasingly sophisticated food scene, exploring the rich culinary history and fabulous offerings of the Eastern Mediterranean. Super authentic if you are looking to try Greek! I 100% recommend checking this place out!

This succulent grilled lamb chops is cooked medium rare perfectly with seasoned oregano and rosemary. Accompanied by a side of roast baby potatoes - my personal love!

🐙 Htapodi | $35.90

This is a slab of grilled octopus with lemon, oregano & Bakalaki Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It is a refreshing change from eating chinese squid and is the juicy and the perfect springy bite, very delicious.

🥘 Moussaka | $26.90

A traditional greek baked casserole of beef minced meat, eggplant, potato & béchamel sauce. This dish is pretty filling so is best to order to share, really a good try for mediterranean food!

🥧 Baklava | $15.90

This is filo pastry stuffed with walnuts, cinnamon, cloves & Greek honey syrup. It is pretty too sweet for my liking but my dad love it so only get it if you have a sweet tooth!

🍨 Yiaourti | $14.90

This dessert is essentally Greek Yoghurt with honey & walnuts - probably something you can try to do at home yourself if you buy the ingredients right!
