Day Trip to Ayutthaya with Train 🚂

It’s been on my wishlist to visit the Kingdom of Siam. Just 80 kilometers north and an hour away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. There are several ways to travel from Bangkok to Ayutthaya. For a scenic route with a touch of local charm, trains departing from Bangkok’s Hualamphong train station that will get to Ayutthaya in 80 minutes and only cost me 15 Baht. So, I choose to go by the train. Worth the trip!

Tips:

Better take an early train to Ayutthaya from Hua Lampong Bangkok train station. You will have enough time to explore all places and the temple in Ayutthaya for a day trip.
