TRY ON: Home Local Brands on a Plussize!

Local Home Brands is growing on me. I just love everything about them especially their aesthetics. Each brand has their own personality and I don’t wanna miss out. So I did my January local brands haul here’s my take on these four brands:

1. HANYA

One thing; aesthetically pleasing. They have a unique approach to their brand and what I love about them is, they produce so many essential pieces for the ladies. This time around, I’m donning their OG Hanya Shirt. I love their material, pure cotton and it is so breathable. I’m in L size and it is still oversized on me. Plus it is so versatile you can actually wear it with so many style.

2. Whimsigirl

This brands scream The-Girl-Next-Door. They focus on more relax and everyday wear, hence most of their clothing are linen based. I bought their Editor Top, and gotta say, I fell in love with it so deeply. I like how it has more of a muted yellow colour which can be used for everyday basis. And of course, it’s linen blend so it has that cooling effect. The top can be worn either as outerwear or by itself. Both look gorgeous.

3. Petit Moi

Well, the name speaks for itself. French Girl on KL. Unlike Hanya and Whimsigirl, Petit Moi has more of a structured look to their pieces. Their Le Boyfriend shirt in XXL is my pick this time around. I’d say their pieces are quite limited for plussize and their oversized trend is a little bit on a smaller scale. Though I’m wearing XXL, unlike Hanya’s, it looks very structured on me. But still, it is pretty comfortable to use on daily basis

4. Machino

They scream cute very loudly. Their staple cute flowers on their sandal defines who they are. Of course, I bought their signature Hana Sandal and people swear it is the most comfortable sandal/heels they’ve ever worn. I don’t disagree tho. I’m very particular when it comes to shoes, and Machino’s doesn’t disappoint. I lovee how they have cushioned sole and it can fit my wide feet. That is the most important thing. I don’t fit most shoes/sandals due to my wide feet, but Machinos prove me wrong. I’ll definitely come back and buy more!
