1️⃣ Cendol Durian Kampung Baru📍 Kuala Lumpur

Take a cab and then walk to Mamam Placeh A whole bowl for just 18 MYR, which shocked me! It’s packed with durian. But the environment is a bit dirty, so if you’re concerned about that, you might want to skip it.

2️⃣ SaSa Seafood Restaurant📍 Kota Kinabalu

If it weren’t for my itinerary, I would have gone back for another round 😭😭 No wonder it's so popular—delicious and inexpensive! A place highly recommended by friends who’ve been to Malaysia ✅ Signature Fried Tofu ✅ Creamy Shrimp ✅ Salted Egg Yolk Crab Basically, everything is a hit and very affordable.

3️⃣ TG's Bistro📍 Kuala Lumpur, Tengkat Tong Shin, Bukit Bintang

I’d recommend checking out the Ella-style pancake here 🫓 I initially thought it was just a trendy spot, but the food was genuinely good. Prices are reasonable, and the owner provides excellent service for Chinese tourists.

4️⃣ 32Parfait📍 Kuala Lumpur, Lot10 Ground Floor

The super long ice cream 🍦 was a surprise find while shopping at Lot10! The milk flavor was really aromatic. One is enough—it's quite big. You can mix flavors if you like.

5️⃣ SS2 Durian Market📍 Kuala Lumpur

Take a cab and search for SS2 3333 A whole street dedicated to durians!! It’s a durian paradise 😭😭 We ate 4 durians among three people, and the mangosteen is also highly recommended—it’s very sweet!! Durian tastes even better in summer 😋 We went during the off-season.

6️⃣ Tai Zi Coconut📍Kota Kinabalu

Take a cab and enter the Chinese name of the restaurant The coconut 🥥 flavor is rich!! The ice cream series is a bit sweet, which isn’t my favorite. I preferred the coconut ice—it’s refreshing and not too sweet, perfect for hot weather.

7️⃣ Zhen Kung Fu Bak Kut Teh📍Kota Kinabalu, Gaya Street Food Court How can you visit Malaysia without having Bak Kut Teh?! We tried a place we randomly picked for a late-night snack 🏠 Prices are reasonable. The Bak Kut Teh is recommended; drinks are average. Just get the Bak Kut Teh if you want to try it.

8️⃣ Sea Dragon Restaurant📍 Semporna

The steamed sea urchin egg is a must-try—it’s incredibly fresh 😋 Other seafood dishes are also good, but the sea urchin was especially memorable.

9️⃣ King Mango Juice📍 Semporna

A daily must-have fruit juice in Semporna!! I loved it. Prices are low, and you can mix various fruits together. I enjoyed the mango and dragon fruit combination the most!!
