I lost my job & recently bought my house.

I had been at my job for 2yrs.

Just recently they laid off a bunch of people and I was one of them.

Here’s my issue with this…

1. I recently bought my house.

2. There is no consideration from the company about warning employees of what’s going to happen so they can prepare & start looking for another job.

Companies expect a notice but they won’t give their employees one. I am beyond disappointed, I am down right 😤 pissed about how they handle this stuff.

I’m ok with having to find another job but I would have appreciated a heads up. So many thoughts went through my mind.

How am I going to make my mortgage payments and bills? How long before I find another job that will pay the same that covers everything?

It’s frustrating and won’t let you sleep at night because of being worried all the time.

This is why people have stopped giving notices at work and they just quit.
